Although Kill Rock Stars has become known for putting out albums by the likes of Elliott Smith, the Decemberists, and Sleater-Kinney, the celebrated Pacific Northwest label started off by releasing an eponymous compilation. Kill Rock Stars came out back in 1991, and to celebrate 20 years in the business, the imprint is now getting ready to reissue the compilation.
The vinyl reissue will arrive in stores on Record Store Day, which will be on April 16. The pressing will be limited to 2,000 silkscreened, hand-numbered copies.
