WTF?! What gives? Did I miss out on a very limited run? Did the TCG ditch plans for a repress altogether? I've sent an email to TCG (The Control Group) requesting enlightenment. Stayed tuned for more info!

"Hewlett's Daughter" from The Sophtware Slump

"Summer Here Kids" from Under the Western Freeway

The trend continues! More very awesome, super-rare, highly sought-after vinyl getting the re-release treatment. Here are two records that have been in desperate need of re-issue for some time now, Grandaddy's Under the Western Freeway and The Sophtware Slump. It seems like these suckas have been out of print since the day after they were issued and am I glad to see them back! And they can be had on the cheap, too! What a welcomed surprise. Both are set for a December 14th release. Pre-order them at amazon.com here and here.

Stick With Mono!

No, I'm not promoting or encouraging you to go out and buy all the early Dylan records in mono... AGAIN! Rather, I thought this promotional video for the Columbia reissues was nostalgic and funny in a nerdy kind of way. But if you are interested in purchasing this very redundant release, it's due December 7th and is available on vinyl. Pre-order at Amazon for $203 USD.
